I can't even describe what it is like to not have The Babe at home. Don't get me wrong - I love her with all my being...but having some quiet time is...so...quiet!! I have been able to clean the house up a bit, look for jobs without having to feed anyone but myself and just relax. The Babe had an appointment with her specialist today and for once we were early! PHEW!!! Work for The Babe's First Birthday began this past Saturday. From dusting and vacuuming to going to the store and prepping food - there is a LOT to get done!
